Travis Hance
General Manager
October 18, 1999, 8:30am. SRFC’s future General Manager begins his first shift at the co-op as a cashier. Ten years later Travis leads a team of twenty staff members and manages a thriving, successful Co-op. Over his tenure at the Co-op, Travis has seen many changes. He is most excited about our upcoming change: expansion to a bigger store!
Linda Moore
Merchandising Manager

Linda comes to us with management experience in the health food store industry and food service management. She has experience in health supportive cooking, with a culinary certificate from the Natural Gourmet Institute of New York City, where strong emphasis is on local, organic and sustainable. Linda’s wealth of food knowledge and enthusiasm for whole foods, as well as respect for the community makes Linda a great addition to the Syracuse Real Food Co-op management team.
Kevin Hansen
Produce Manager

Kevin comes to us from Iowa City, Iowa where he worked for a total of 11 years at the New Pioneer Co-op. His last four years there were as a Senior Produce Clerk. He also worked at the Brattleboro Food Coop in Brattleboro, Vermont for a year as a grocery clerk. Kevin has a wealth of information on produce including proper handling of and care for fresh produce. His passions are for organics, working with local farmers to promote their products and of course, working in the Co-op atmosphere.
Don DeVeau
Marketing and Member Services Coordinator
Don learned his marketing skills while operating his own farm and construction equipment business located in the Syracuse and CNY area. He has held leadership positions in local community member based organizations which will help in his understanding the needs and desires of the SRFC membership. Don looks forward to interacting with staff and members to promote the Co-op’s culture.
Jeremy DeChario
Front End Manager

Jeremy’s interest in food began with progressive organizing in college. After a crisis about the liberal arts curriculum he found the co-op, which combines his related interests of food politics, local living and eating well.
Scott Pierson
Deli Manager

Scott is a locally grown talent, growing up and going to school in Baldwinsville. NY. He has been dealing with natural foods for the last 7 years at establishments in Myrtle Beach, SC, the Syracuse area and now the SRFC. Scott lives just around the corner from the Co-op and is dedicated to providing good quality deli products to SRFC members, store shoppers and his neighborhood.
Sung Choe
Head Grocery Clerk
Ask Sung if you want to know where it is. He is a shopper at heart and can relate to your needs. Sung has had life experiences throughout the world and is now here with us in Syracuse, NY. He’s done things such as searching for wild chanterelle mushrooms in the wilds of Alaska. His varied background will help to make your shopping experience a better one at SRFC.
